There is one true God, the living creator and sustainer of everything that exists, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-17, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 3:14, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:1-5, John 10:30)
Jesus Christ is God’s one and only son. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified and died for our sins. He rose from the dead and now lives at the right hand of God as our priest and advocate – the only one who can restore our relationship with God. He will return to earth in power and glory. (Colossians 1:15-16, Matthew 1:21, 1 John 2:2, Isaiah 53:5-6, Acts 16:31, Romans 5:9, Titus 2:3, 1Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Mankind was created by God in His own image and likeness. Mankind fell into sin, and therefore all men are born sinful and separated from God. Mankind’s salvation comes only through the conviction of the Holy Spirit into true faith and trust in the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:23-24, Romans 3:23, Genesis 3, Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 5:1-2, Ephesians 2:4-5, John 16:33)
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God given to us as the divine standard for our lives and as the final authority for our faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matthew 5:17-19)
Spiritual unity exists between believers in our Lord Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit’s indwelling, the Christian is regenerated and enabled to live a godly life. (Philippians 2:1-4, John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13, 14, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14)
